VICTORIA

Clementine lives in Victoria, BC, a coastal city on Vancouver Island. She takes piano lessons at 23 ½ Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest street in Canada! The Compendium of Curiosities is nearby, on Pandora Avenue. Her favorite restaurant, though fictional, was inspired by the many delicious spots in the Chinatown District. Clem and her friends spend a lot of time hanging out near the harbor and on the beaches, collecting shells and watching tourists. Beautiful old Victorian houses, much like Clem’s, line the tree-lined streets. Victoria is one of the author’s favorite Canadian cities!
