PANGIAN FOREST

Pangier is a dimension where the supercontinent of Pangaea never broke apart. The primordial Pangean forests are home to many species of trees, most of which are the size of skyscrapers. The forest floor is littered with giant mushrooms, ferns, hamula, spiny hoar’kaua, and a whole lot of mud. Edible plants and nuts include the pan’a (not to be confused with its poisonous twin kamo’a pan’uka), Kaw’a berries, mokipo, and so much more. Trantualas are pets, butterflies are deadly, and bird song fills the air.

Inspiration for the Pangian forest came from the north island of New Zealand, Vancouver Island, and the giant cedar and redwood groves of the Pacific Northwest.
