THE SERIES
A world on the brink of collapse. A chest hiding a secret salvation.
An ordinary girl with the key to unlock it all.
(Without giving away too much, here’s what you can expect in upcoming books.)

BOOK 1: THE EARTH STONE
When a chance encounter at an antique shop brings an old, ornate chest into her possession, Clementine has no idea just how real the far away dreamscapes of her favorite books are about to become.
In a parallel dimension, Andro labours under the dictatorial rule of the Black Peacock in the Empire of Dohi. The only spark of magic in his life is an old chest, passed down through many generations and said to grant mysterious gifts—though that is a thing of the past, if it was ever true at all.
Connected by the shared interdimensional space of the chest, Clementine and Andro soon discover they can communicate with each other across worlds. More than that, the locked drawers of the chest hold the key to saving the Empire of Dohi—if only they can be opened—and if no further surprises meet them from within.
“To the feathered of the great forests, she entrusted the Earth Stone. They, more than any, valued the earth, for it was their sanctuary. First and foremost, a place to roost and rest.”

BOOK 2: THE WATER STONE
Clementine is stressed she isn’t finding the second key fast enough, and Maddie and Brooke being on her case all the time about how they “never see her anymore” isn’t helping. To make matters worse, her parents won’t stop fighting. If only she could find the second key, Clem could escape on a new adventure.
Worlds away, Andro and Ablikim are forced to flee the city. When Daro won’t let them into the Lost Library, they must find a new sanctuary. But how long will it be until they are discovered?
“To the nomads of the desert, she entrusted the Water Stone, for only those who had truly thirsted understood the importance of a single drop of water.”

BOOK 3: THE WIND STONE
When Fergus tells Clementine he knows where the third key is, Clem is elated…until, that is, she hears where it is. “We’re going to have to steal it,” she tells him. It’s super risky, but with Ablikim missing and Andro dodging the Black Peacock at every turn, what choice does she have? Reluctantly enlisting Ferg’s help, Clementine plans an epic heist. Can she pull it off and find the Wind Stone in time?
Andro searches for the sword hilt, but the Black Peacock’s agents are out in full force, making progress nearly impossible. As fast as he runs, he can’t escape the Bird.
“To the seafarers, she entrusted the Wind Stone, for, without the winds that carried them along, they were nothing.”

BOOK 4: THE FIRE STONE
Finding the last key and the last Stone has reached a new level of urgency. Clem’s lost communication with Andro, and she isn’t sure how, but agents of the Black Peacock found her in Flodeso. If they’ve figured out how to track her through dimensions, it’s only a matter of time before they find her, the chest, or the Stones.
Having been captured by the Black Peacock, Andro is being held in the dungeons beneath Nimbina with Ablikim. While he was elated to discover the old man was alive, he was less to learn Ablikim had talked. Unable to warn Clementine of the danger she might be in, Andro plots his escape.
“And to those cast into eternal darkness, she entrusted the Fire Stone that it may serve as a symbol of hope in their darkest hours.”

BOOK 5: AETHER
Clementine must find a way to Dohi; to do so, she will need a lot of help from an unexpected source. But even if she manages to find a way, will they be able to defeat the Black Peacock?
“From each place, she took a special token as a guide—a clue—to the location of each Stone and locked it away in her royal chest so that, one day, she might reclaim the Stones and return home.”
